VA Home Loan Checklist

To ensure your loan application process is quick and smooth, be prepared to supply the following documents to National Bank Of Kansas City:

1. Street addresses of where you’ve been living for the past two years
2. Names and addresses of your employers over past two years
3. Your current pre-tax monthly salary
4. Names, account numbers and balances on all liquid asset accounts (checking, savings, money markets, IRA's, etc.)
5. Addresses and loan information of any other real estate owned
6. Certificate of Eligibility and DD214 (if no longer active duty)
7. W2's for the past two years
8. Paycheck stubs from the past month
9. If self employed, you will need to provide your last two federal tax returns.
10. If you have a service related disability, inform your lender to get the funding fee waived.
